Disney has announced their newest remake: this one a remake of the classic Bambi, in which a young deer grapples with his mother’s death. The remake spins a twist on the original, with Bambi now having two moms who are shot in a hate crime by anti-gay right wing extremist hunters. In another twist, Bambi is half deer and half buffalo due to one of his mothers undergoing IVF with the help of a buffalo sperm donor.
