HOLLYWOOD, Ca. —
Actor John Smith boasts an impressive number of movie roles as various historical figures. Smith’s many roles include John F. Kennedy, Rosa Parks, Mahatma Gandhi, Queen Elizabeth II, Nelson Mandela, Adolf Hitler, Maya Angelou, Hillary Clinton, Mao Zedong, Sitting Bull, William Shakespeare, Martin Luther King, Cleopatra, Donald Trump, Genghis Khan, Albert Einstein, and Barack Obama.
Smith attributes his ability to accurately portray so many people to his generic facial features.
“Every day people come up to me on the street and say, ‘you look just like so-and-so,’ and ‘oh my gosh, it’s my doppelgänger!’” said Smith. “Like, I have 9,718 doppelgängers in my hometown alone.”
“I’ve been arrested 703 times because I look just like the criminal the police are after,” Smith added. “A lady even mistook me for her own six-month-old baby one time.”
“I’m a quarter black, quarter white, quarter Asian, quarter Native American, one hundred percent generic,” Smith explained. “In fact, a Buzzfeed quiz once even said I’m 3% female. I guess I’m just a little bit of everyone.”
